Shepherd's Caravan

Stay in our beautiful restored shepherd's hut

In the field behind the farmhouse, overlooking a river (during the Winter and the Spring) and rolling fields, is the shepherd’s caravan. This caravan dates back nearly a century and was used by shepherds in Hampshire to mind their flocks of sheep. In contrast to a gypsy caravan, this shepherd's caravan is designed to be pulled by a tractor, and for this has large iron wheels.

The caravan has a bed for two and a veranda complete with table and chairs for breakfast dining on sunny days. We provide bed-linen, towels and soap. Inside, the cosy colours and wood burning stove will keep you warm and toasty on cold evenings.

Close to the hut there is a barbeque grill for you to use and a seating area from which to enjoy the view.

30 yards away from the caravan is an outside loo with washing facilities and showers are available in the farmhouse before 10am. Consider this posh camping!

The price:

£60 for two (inc. full English breakfast)
£45 for one (inc. full English breakfast)
